About Marina Dinets

Welcome to my page! My name is Marina Dinets- I am a licensed acupuncture practitoner (California license). I also hold a degree as a Physician Assistant from Russia, where I worked in both medical and business fields, as well as experience in dental offices in the United States. 

 Since I was a young child, I wanted to be a doctor. Even my preschool classmates acknowledged me as a medicine woman, coming to me for help with their wounds and pains.

Then as a teenager, I was fascinated by stories of natural healings and herbal remedies passed down by my parents and grandparents. In Russia, it is still tradition to pass down such family secrets and traditions. I fell in love with it instantly! I greatly enjoyed medical literature, respected biology, human anatomy, and physiology. One of my grandmothers even taught me to meditate long before I learned the word itself. Soon after, I started to discover my growing intuition. This transferred into an ability to create a bridge between medicine and my patients, today. Our family also valued honesty, integrity, and empathy, which I try to incorporate with all my clients. This has also led me to apply acupuncture through volunteer work for those in need. Giving back to the community has become a vital part of my practice.

It brings me such joy to work with all my patients. The highest reward is seeing our relationship develop, and the progress of the treatments!

    Marina helped me with my very very long cough - the one that didn't go away for many months or even years (I had xRays and other tests done, tried syrups, OTS remedies and prescription drugs for asthma and allergies although I have neither - nothing helped). Marina took her time to understand my cough and my whole body, assessed all aspects of my health and lifestyle, she then used acupuncture and suggested a certain mix of Chinese herbs - surprisingly they tasted pretty good and smelled nice! - and she worked with me for several weeks. I have to admit - I followed her regimen religiously and after probably a month and a half (maybe two) it was gone! After many years of coughing - it was a miracle, I am completely cough free for more than 6 months now.
